New Texture Pack Release! (1.5) [Thanks to @ToxicBearEDM for Suggestion]

Hey everyone! I hope all of you are as excited for 1.8 as I am! So, I'm dropping you with some 1.8 goodness! In this update, we have some of the new 1.8 blocks now textured in Faithful as well as an accurate crosshair which should help out with the bow and arrowing!
WHAT THE BEJEEBUS IS THIS TEXTURE PACK?:
This is a pretty unique texture pack that focuses on a lot of the things that make Minecraft more convenient! It's mainly based for PvP, but I have optimizations for redstoners and even builders can use it. How did I come up with such a brilliant idea? Well, one day, as i was searching the internet, I realized there was no good PvP texture pack. Many of them had nice features, but none looked visually appealing and not all of them combined all of the features into one. At first, it was only for me but my friends soon realized that this was a great texture pack. I didn't really take the releases too seriously, which is why some of my early versions had a rainbow exp bar. Now, I want to make sure everyone has a better PvP experience, which is why I'm here writing this. But I digress, let’s get on with the features.
FEATURES:
-Based on the Faithful texture pack
-Translucent menus so you can see people sneaking up on you while having a chest open
-Small, accurate crosshairs for better aiming
-Bow charge indicator when pulling the bow back. Red=fire the bow
-Reduced fire size for improved visibility when set on fire
-128 pixel particles. They look awesome!
-Flat redstone and redstone items. They are especially good for redstone videos because they are flat and easy to tell apart from other blocks.
-Better more HD skies. Please note that you need either optifine or MCpatcher and your render distance needs to be at minimum 8 chunks for this to work.
-A blue experience bar because why not?
-Flat health and food bars so you can more easily see when you have half a heart or half a food leg
-True clear glass! Please note that stained glass is not true clear, only regular glass and glass panes.
-Frequent updates as soon as the texture pack developers release new blocks or features.
-A secret feature! You just have to download the texture pack and put a pumpkin on your head to find out what it is! ;)

I highly, highly doubt that anyone will want to donate to me, but I might as well answer the question to you just in case. No, I do not accept donations. Why, you ask? I didn't make any of these features. They are all either from another texture pack or they are slightly modified. All I did was unite all of the PvP packs out there into one simple, and unified pack. This isn't my work and I don't feel right accepting money for something I didn't make. If you wish to support me, simply donate to the texture pack creators! They are the one that truly deserve to be paid for their work. :)
HOW DO I KEEP UP WITH THE UPDATES?
Every time a new version comes out, I post it immediately to my twitter and pin it to the top. If you visit Twitter.com/TheSaix29 , you will see the latest version as the pinned tweet. The simplest way to keep up with the updates is to follow me on twitter. Don't have a twitter? That's fine too! I've got you covered! If you visit multiurl.com/l/kMh (or http://bit.ly/thesaix29pvpalldownloads) , I have the links to all versions from Ver. 1.3 onward. The newest version is the one with the highest number (duh). I update it when a new version goes live, so just check back frequently to see if a new version is out. I would probably set a weekly reminder to check the page on your phone or computer and make sure you bookmark it.
HOW DO I INSTALL THIS TEXTURE PACK?
Well, if you're asking this question, you have probably never installed a texture pack. This is an easily Google-able question so I'd just search the web for how to install it. That being said, there are some specifics to my resource pack, so I might as well list them here. My texture pack comes in a zip file, which can actually be opened natively on windows 7/8. I would say that the best way of opening the file is through WinRAR, but if you don't want to install WinRAR, it's possible to do it without. Right-click on the file that you downloaded and go over and hover over 'open with'. Then select 'Windows Explorer'. Then that should open it. From there, drag the folder in the zip file to your resource pack folder which can be accessed using the following path: %appdata%/roaming>/.minecraft/resourcepacks . Once that is done, you should have the texture pack installed!
DOES THIS WORK ON <INSERT OPERATING SYSTEM NAME HERE>?:
Yes, as far as I know, this should run on any operating system that can run Minecraft. That includes Windows, (xp, 7, 8, and 8.1) Mac, and Linux. The only operating system that I can think of that doesn't support this is Chrome OS, but you can't install Minecraft on that anyway. Just a rule of thumb, if you can run Minecraft on your computer, then you can install the texture pack on it! Again, I would highly recommend Googling your certain OS because the process of installing the pack might be different. This pack was made on a computer running Windows 8.1, so I have no clue if there are compatibility issues with other operating systems.
MY COMPUTER IS LAGGY WHEN RUNNING THIS PACK. HALP!:
First of all, that isn't a question, but I'll answer anyway. If you have issues with running this pack or crashing, then you might just have an issue with your computer specifications. If you have an old/bad computer, then I can't help you. You might be able to remedy the problem by installing the Optifine mod or allocating more ram to Minecraft.
CAN YOU MAKE ME A CUSTOM VERSION OF THIS PACK WITH <INSERT PACK FEATURE HERE>?:
No. Sorry. If I was making custom versions of the texture pack for everyone, I would be sitting at my computer all day. You may edit my texture pack if you would like, but I will not edit it for you. You may request certain features using the included directions above.
DO WE HAVE TO LINK YOUR TEXTURE PACK IF WE USE IT IN A YOUTUBE VIDEO?:
No. You are not obligated by any means to link my texture pack in your videos. If you want to, you may. Just link them to my twitter page with some directions on how to find the link to download.
DO WE HAVE TO LINK YOU IF WE USE PARTS OF YOUR TEXTURE PACK IN OURS?:
By no means are you obligated to, but you can if you would like. I don't really care if people take parts of mine. I just care to bring a better PvP experience to other Minecrafters!
HOW OFTEN DO YOU RELEASE A NEW VERSION OF THE TEXTURE PACK?
I have no specific schedule for when the texture pack comes out. I just release it when I'm done testing it. The best way to keep up with the texture pack releases is to follow @TheSaix29 on twitter
WHERE ARE THE TEXTURES FOR <INSERT BLOCK/ENTITY NAME HERE>?:
I update the block and entity textures as soon as Faithful updates them. If there is a snapshot in your current time, there may be a chance that a certain new block is not implemented into the texture pack. In that case, you just have to keep checking my texture pack download page for a new version until it comes out. Again, I update them as soon as faithful updates them, so I might be waiting for faithful to update in your current point in time!
CAN I DOWNLOAD THE PRE-RELEASE VERSIONS OF THIS PACK?
Sadly, no. Quite frankly, I'm embarrassed of the things that I added in to the pack. At the time, it was for fun and the only person that it needed to satisfy was me. Now, times have changed. There are active people who want the latest and greatest PvP features and that's exactly what I planned to deliver with the first version of this texture pack. You can download the first ever release version currently, but you can't find any files for the versions before that. They were never intended for public use. You might find an occasional screenshot from the pre-release versions on Twitter, but that's pretty much it!
WHY IS THE CLEAR GLASS NOT WORKING?!?!:
I do believe you have optifine installed if it isn't clear glass. There is a quick fix which is to turn off connected textures in the Minecraft video settings. I will fix in the future if it is possible. If you know how to fix it, let me know.
CHANGELOG:
-Added support for Guardians, Elder Guardians, as well as the new blocks including all of the prismarine blocks and sponges.
-Added support for coarse dirt, as well as Red Sandstone and Banners/Armour Stands.
-Added a smaller, more accurate crosshair!
-Cleaned up some random files from the pre-release days of this texture pack
-Changed font to faithful font for now so that the text should work for 1.7.10 and on. Hopefully, font won't be messed up anymore. I will change back to the original font in the future if the creator fixes the issue. Thanks to @ToxicBearEDM for the suggestion. Hopefully, I get more of these!
